Fr. Timothy D. May serves as the pastor of St. Stephen's Lutheran Church. One of seven children and originally from Colorado, he has lived in many states. He studied History in Nebraska and Theology and Religion in St. Louis. He lives in Milwaukee with his wife and two children.
Fr. May's interests include reading, genealogy, following advances in computer and internet technology and Latin. When he has time he mixes readings in history, religion, philosophy and theology. He is a part-time instructor in the areas of theology and religion. He supports renewal of understanding and practice of the historical liturgy and the sacraments, especially in their relation to the Church's faith and life. He also speaks Spanish.
Call him "Pastor May," "Rev. May" or "Fr. May." He is comfortable with all of these titles related to the ministry's vocation.
Fr. May leads the liturgy on Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. (Spanish). He also enjoys leading Sunday morning study and discussion of various topics related to Holy Scripture and the Church's confession of the faith. The study meets at 10:30 a.m.
